MANILA, Philippines | 23 May 2025 – The Climate Change Commission (CCC) has received its 10th consecutive unmodified opinion from the Commission on Audit (COA) for its financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2024, demonstrating the agency’s commitment to transparency and accountability within its operations.

This unmodified opinion—the highest audit opinion given by the COA—affirms that the CCC's financial statements present fairly the agency’s financial position, financial performance, cash flows, changes in net assets/equity, and the comparison of budget and actual amounts, in accordance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).

The audit was conducted in accordance with the International Standards of Supreme Audit Institutions (ISSAIs), and the COA has confirmed that there were no material misstatements or irregularities found during the audit process.

“We would like to acknowledge our officers and staff for this decade-long work,” said Commissioner Robert E.A. Borje. “This milestone is a challenge to continue working on delivering our mandate with fiscal responsibility, transparency and accountability, consistent with the vision of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.”

The CCC extends its gratitude to its finance and accounting teams, stakeholders, and partners for their continued support and dedication to upholding the highest standards of public sector governance.
