Select members of the NPTE participated in Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change activities:
- Dr. Leoncio Amadore attended the 47th session on the IPCC in Paris, Frace last March 2018.
- Mr. Leandro Buendia received his appointment as a member of the IPCC Emission Factor Database Editorial Board. (2018-2021)
- Dr. Laura David, Dr. Rosa Perez, and Ms. Lourdes Tibig were nominated as members of the IPCC Task Group on Gender.
- Drs. Rodel Lasco, Rosa Perez, and Juan Pulhin were among the Lead Authors of the 6th Assessment Report of the IPCC.
- Dr. Perez is a lead author in the special report on 1.5˚C Global Warming.
- Ms. Tibig is an author of the Special Report on the Ocean and Cryosphere in a Changing Climate.
Other IPCC special reports were also reviewed by some of the NPTE members as part of the IPCC Government and Expert Review
