The Office of the Deputy Executive Director of the Climate Change Office (CCO) is responsible in stipulating  support to the Office of the Secretary and Executive Director of the Commission.

It handles the operationalization of the People’s Survival Fund (PSF), specifically by technical capacity development to local government units (LGU) and local or community organizations (L/COs), as mandated by RA 10174.

It is also responsible for evaluating projects under the climate change focal area of the Global Environment Facility (GEF). The CCC is the designated multilateral environmental agreement (MEA) focal point agency.
