The Climate Change Commission is currently looking for a Development Management Officer II (Contract of Service) under the Implementation Oversight Division.

 

Position    :  Development Management Officer II

Division    :  Implementation Oversight Division

Employment Status  :  Contract of Service

Salary Grade    :  15

          

Qualifications              

Education  :  Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job

Experience  :  1 year relevant experience

Training  :  4 hours relevant training

Eligibility  :  None required

 

Terms of References

1.  Provide technical assistance in data gathering( through any appropriate modalities) and data validation from identified stakeholders from the national government, local government units, people’s organization, and business sector; 

2.  Assist in the conduct of field visits (if needed) to collect and record data and/or samples as appropriate to the specific objectives of climate reporting; 

3.  Assist and develop stakeholder management to include organization of interview schedules and contact details of stakeholders; 

4.  Encode verified data and provide preliminary data analytics; 

5.  Review and edit data to ensure completeness and accuracy of information and follow up with subjects to resolve problems or clarify data collected; 

 

Other Support Tasks: 

1.  Assist in the preparation of all educational training workshop and evaluation strategies; 

2.  Compile data for progress reports; 

3.  Prepare materials (invitations/letter/etc.) for submission to relevant stakeholders; 

4.  Maintain accurate records of interviews, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary; 

5.  Summarize interviews and provide meeting highlights; 

6.  Provide ready access to all data for CCC and/or IOD Chief and Team Leader; 

7.  Manage related correspondences; 

8.  Attend and document stakeholder consultations; 

9.  Prepare other articles, reports and presentations; 

10.  Monitor the program budget; and 

11.  Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
